Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!!!

I wanted to post these pictures on sunday, but for some reason by the time I am getting around to doing it I am EXHAUSTED!!!!! I don't know what is wrong, but I am such a night owl and I haven't gone to bed later than 11:30 all week. That is just strange for me!
Sunday we left for church at quarter to 9:00AM and there was no snow on the ground. Three hours later when church was done there was 6 inches on the ground!!!! It kept snowing the whole day and night! I had Justin take me out so I could practice driving in the snow ... I am now more thankful for my truck than I have ever been!
When it is this snowy outside it is beautiful here. I mean it is cold anyway, it might as well be beautiful and white outside. Everything gets quiet and very peaceful. Our community has all of the trees in the entrance lit, and with the lights sitting under the snow it is just magical. I had to go out and take some pictures of it! Everyone enjoy!

This is after Justin has already scraped the driveway once that day!

Yuck! Don't miss it a bit. I can visit it whenever I want but not have to live in it.

I'm glad you can find all the magic in it still. It really is pretty isn't it?

I love that he took you out to practice driving. It is so fun to see the snow through new eyes. It's even prettier on a tree with lights.

That's beautiful. Way to be positive-- if it's going to be cold, it might as well be beautiful...

I guess I shouldn't complain about Provo being cold because I'm sure it's a lot colder in Calgary!

Snowy nights are magical. Just remember that when you're driving around in the muddy slush!

Beautiful pictures! I love the snow like that, but walking or driving in it! If only I could just admire it from inside all day! Oh, did you get my invite to BYU 84th ward website??? If not, email me at boringfamily@q.com and I'll get you an invite. It's great to hear from Bishop Jacobson again! And, about the flannel sheets, I didn't know they were that memorable! I guess I leave impressions in the strangest of places...

Wow Kira! I know it totally sucks to be in cold Canada weather and I'm pretty sure if I was up there, I'd be completely frozen from limb to limb, but it is soooooooooo beautiful! Wally is alwyas talking about how he would like to have one white Christmas and how cool that you get one every year! Luv ya and miss ya!

Looks wonderful...but a wee bit too chilly for me. I'm thrilled to be able to go to the beach after Thanksgiving.

My favorite Christmas light memories are of driving around Fort Macleod and seeing the snow covered evergreen trees lit with the large lightbulbs just glowing through the snow. It is an image that has always stayed with me. I love snow, it looks really nice in pictures!! Merry Christmas from Sunny California...it rained here for a whole 5 minutes today. That's winter for ya!
