The disappearance of Chelsea King has really disturbed me and I can't stop thinking about it. There are too many similarities to my family and it is eerie. She is even from the same area that I grew up in. It reminds me that the world is not always safe and we really need to be on our guard. My heart aches for her family and I hope that they will be able to get some closure soon. No parent should have to endure something like this.

I feel the exact same way. I actually have some friends that know her and are friends with her, and just knowing she is so close to Sarah's age, and knowing the area so well and the school she went to... it is so scary. I literally cried when I heard she was gone, and the ideas of what could have happend to her. Knowing the worst happend is just so devastating.

We can't forget that even though this world can be such a beautiful place there is also a lot of evil here as well. This is so very sad.

I actually have been thinking alot about you in the last week since this all started. I was thinking about you running and playing in orchestra and about your sisters. It is definately touching everyone here in some way. Your dad is right about there being evil in the world, there is no other explanation I can find for someone doing something so cruel to such a precious human being.
