Our House

Do you remember back in May when we bought the lot for our new accessible house? Well, it took a long time designing our new home, making sure it will meet all of our specific needs. We are happy to report that it is well on its way and we couldn't be more excited! Everything is almost done. We are signing off on all the details this week. The biggest news? Even our application for elevator funding was approved ... THANK YOU SAFEWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Major stress in our life is over!! Now we just wait and visit every day :-) No joke, we are there almost every day checking it out.

The cutest thing regarding the house? Every time we take the boys to look at it Evan wants to see where his room is going to be and always talks about his elevator. The last time we took him and showed him his room he said ... "yeah, this is my room and I can come up here all by myself in my elevator!" This house is a dream come true for our little family.

Enjoy the progress pictures.

in the boys room

we went to see the house late at night right after the weather dropped and there was about 2 feet of snow inside the entire house. I wonder how they get rid of that?? It will be a good story later:-)

It really is going up fast! How fun that you get to watch it go up. I'm excited for Evan to show me how he uses his elevator to get to his room :) He can take Grandma for a ride!
