Happy Mother's Day

This is me with my conductor, Jim Plodke

I am sorry that I wasn't able to get this out ON Mother's Day. We had church, lunch with Evan's Tummy Mummy, and then I had a rehearsal and concert. It was such a treat for me to be able to play a concert that Evan was able to come to. I know that he won't remember it, but it meant alot to have him and Justin there supporting me. It was an emotional day for me. With it being my first mother's day and my last concert in Florida, I had a lot to cry about. The Ocala Symphony Orchestra (the former Central Florida Symphony Orchestra) has been so good to me. I am grateful to them for all the wonderful times and growing experiences I had with them.
LISA LEAVITT
My mom is a wonderful woman! She has taught me how to be a mother to my son. She is supportive, loving, and kind. People always say that I look like my mom and that I talk like my mom (inflection, and hand motions). I wish I had her skin and am glad that I didn't get her height :-) My mom loves my husband and my son, which means the world to me. Even though I live on the other side of the country I love being able to call her anytime and talk. I can talk to her about things that I need or just gab for hours. I love her and am proud to call her mom!

Lisa has been an amazing mother-in-law. Ever since I met Kira, Lisa has been loving and caring towards me. She is an awesome mother and I love watching how she will give up everything and anything for her children. She supports them in all that they do (and they do a lot) and I know that she is going to do the same for our little Evan.
LANNY KLAUDT
Lanny is a wonderful mother-in-law. She has always been very supportive of me. I felt immediately accepted by her as a daughter, which was and is such a blessing in my life. There are times I feel that we are kindred spirits. I love visiting her and I am excited to have her closer to me when we move to Canada.

My mum is such a special person. She helped me grow up to be the person I am today. She taught me to have fun in all that I do. Mom always takes us on different adventures like this past winter she took us ice fishing. We had quite the scare when we drove the Suburban onto the ice and the ice cracked and we thought that we were going to die. Recently we have had some little additions to our family and "Granny Lanny" is an awesome granny. She spoils her grandchildren to death and I can't wait to live close so she can do the same to little Evan. We love you Mom
LORI PALMER
I love Lori! She is my anchor of sanity in a world of Palmer crazy :-) It is nice to have someone else saying "no" to the crazy stunts that this family tries to pull off. Seriously speaking, Lori is a wonderful mother-in-law who I know that I can call for help and love. She makes special efforts to see us and enjoys her time with us. That makes us feel special. I am grateful that she is in my life.

Lori married into our crazy family and she realized quite quickly how to deal with me, by bugging me right back. One of my favorite memories is when I was squirting Kelley with my watergun (in the house) and Lori stole it from me and soaked me from head to foot. It was pretty cool. She is an awesome step-mom and we love her a lot.

Great tribute guys!! I thought about you Kira quite a bit on Mother's Day. My first Mother's Day was such a special one and knew that yours would be too. These children do miraculous things to our lives.

The best Mother's Day Gift I received was you being able to finally play in a concert again. Love you!! Oh, at our special stake conference this weekend the choir sang "Come Thou Font." I'll never be able to listen to that without thinking how much better it would be if you were playing the English Horn with it. :D
