I thought babies liked sleep

Landon is a TERRIBLE sleeper!! I don't know how I can emphasize this more. It is now 5:11 pm and he hasn't slept once!! (I really don't count the 2 ten minute naps). The problem is that he wakes up Evan from his nap, then I have 2 monsters on my hands!

Any bets as to when Landon will start sleeping? During the day or at night ... either one!

I AM TIRED!!!!!!!!!

So sorry! I know it can be so hard. I promise it will get better, sometime. I keep wishing a handbook would have come with each of my children!

Though I do get Kyla to take a good nap, she still doesn't sleep through the night. EVER. and she is in our bed every night! I do feel a little of your pain!

ah, honey, wish I could wave a magic wand... but on the other hand, he and Evan had a blast today at the party, didn't they! I loved packing Landon around, finally!!! thank you for that, and sharing pineapple and brownies - who said moms don't have a third arm? and Tim loved hangin' with the boys and helping out, too! We love you!

Me, too! Danika never, ever slept. Ever. UGH! It's exhausting! She finally started taking a short nap when she started crawling and a longer afternoon nap now that she's walking. Those stinkers! Hang in there :) Have I told you that I miss talking to you, if only once a year?!

Is he crying the whole time he's awake? If not...then I would just put him in his crib or playpen and not worry. If you can.....sleep when he's there just wide awake but playing. Or sleep for those 10 minutes that he's sleeping. That's the only advice I have.

So sorry you are going through this. Motherhood can be VERY tiring for sure.

Christmas should be interesting since you are all sharing a room.

I feel for you and can relate. My first son never slept and I was so exhausted and tired all the time. I understand why they use sleep deprivation as a form of torture. There is help out there - have you thought of a sleep consultant? I hired one, and it was like a miracle. It made such a profound impact on me, that I left a successful career to help others get a good night's sleep. You can learn more by visting www.sleepsense.net/kelowna.

Ohh Kira I feel for you! Austin was a terrible sleeper at first. I was so tired sometimes I felt ill. He now is the best sleeper so it will get better. Austin now takes a 3 hour solid nap and he nevr used to sleep! He was also the lightest sleeper and he has gotten better on that end too. It will get better!
